Xochitlan de Vicente Suarez, Puebla. Mexico.
The small town of xochitlan was scarce at 8am in the morning, and i had been wondering around looking and waiting for people to emerge to photograph. A truck pulled up alongside me, and a friendly local I had met the previous day, greeted me and we got chatting. At which point I noticed a silhouette of this indigenous man approaching me in the distance along the cobbled roads. Discreet and as quick as I was, he still noticed me photographing him. The small town appears worlds apart, and despite recently being granted "pueblo mágico" status, tourism here is still very much in its infancy...which makes it even more charming.
